Verdict

Cradle Mountain, a half-brother to five winners, was well beaten behind stablemate Royal Navy Ship at the Curragh in October but is expected to leave that form a long way behind this season. Blue Skimmer makes his debut on the surface after showing reasonable form on soft ground though he lacks scope and Vale Do Sol can improve past him. Ger Lyons' charge showed plenty of potential in his opening run at Navan in October and this should be more his trip. Navegante hasn't been beaten far in his three runs on the track and it will be a surprise if he's not there at the finish but Dermot Weld can take this with INFINITE LOOP, who is a half-brother to a couple of multiple winners on artificial surfaces in the USA.
