STRATEGIC HEIGHTS (NAP) won this last year and is now 8lb lower. He's bounced back to form in his last two starts and Kevin Manning is a very positive booking. He only just finished in front of Red All Star last time, though that was over 6f and he's better over this trip. Palavicini Run has had 22 career starts but only one over the minimum trip so he'll probably find this on the short side, a remark that also applies to stable companion Arlecchino's Rock. That pair are part of Jonny Levins' team of six who include Zippy, a winner at Yarmouth when last seen in October. Mo Henry is only 2lb higher than his victory over 6f here in October while the first reserve Little Cupcake has yet to win on the all-weather but has dropped to such a lowly mark recently that a victory looks imminent and she's run well in her past two starts.
