In depth

Verdict

CEBUANO finished runner-up in four bumpers and has occupied the same spot on his last two starts here and at Cork. He was a very unlucky loser over the C&D on Thursday and though hardly thrown in for his handicap debut should prove too good for these. Xsquared gained his first success with a very easy success on ground with give at Fairyhouse so it's hardly surprising that the assessor has raised him 12lb. Painted Fingers has only run here twice and has been well beaten both times but arrives in good form having been narrowly beaten by Via Del Corso at Ballinrobe. She looks well handicapped at present and Ian Brennan's claim should enable her to get into the mix. Fleeting Moment has won once in 18 starts on the all-weather and never in 27 runs on Turf so is hardly one to have faith in.
