The Tulip was a 33/1 chance when third behind Va Pensiero here in February but belied the odds with a cracking effort and the winner has subsequently won a much better race. Runmhar made a bright start at Leopardstown in October and though well beaten on her reappearance there last week will have come on considerably for the run and has to be respected. ZILBIYR was well supported for a maiden here a fortnight ago and ran well but couldn't hold Long Island Sound, who looked better than average. He should be suited by stepping up in trip and looks the one to be on. Jockey bookings suggest Kubali is the more forward of Ger Lyons' pair.
