At this time a year ago, QUEEN ALPHABET (NAP) was finishing a close fourth in a hot Aintree handicap and she continued to run very well over timber throughout the summer. She returned to action over 1m2f here a fortnight ago and, with that under her belt and the longer trip being in her favour, she can get back to winning ways. Taqaseem had just two runs in the summer of 2014, finishing a well-beaten second to subsequent dual Group 1 winner Highland Reel at Gowran in the latter of them. Something has obviously gone amiss but his trainer can get one ready and he's one to keep an eye on. Roconga started favourite for a maiden over two miles here last month on the back of useful form over hurdles but got no sort of run and can be considered unlucky. Whether he'll be suited by the drop in trip is another matter but The Welsh Wizard did have some form over the distance on Polytrack in the UK.
