ROCK ON AIDAN has improved with each run on this surface and was always travelling like a winner three weeks ago and, though a 12lb rise makes this much more difficult, he can go in again. Wild Shot was almost two lengths behind Ragtime Red over this trip in December before a comfortable victory over 1m4f and that may be his trip nowadays. Saga Bolton was receiving 14lb from Sayesse when beating him two lengths in a course and distance claimer and the latter should reverse the places on these terms. Sheberghan made a fine debut for new connections when just failing to hold off The Mouse Doctor over 1m4f in December while Gougane Barra made Jon Ess pull out the stops last month and a big run from the winner earlier would point to his chances.
