After scoring over 7f here last month, EGLISH went to Wolverhampton 10 days later and won as she liked over the same trip. She's up 9lb so this is more difficult but there should be plenty more to come. Chanell Eclipse had performed well in two 5f maidens here before just failing to hold Mecklenburg over this trip. She makes her handicap debut and is another with scope, though she was behind Sampers Seven over the minimum here earlier. The latter had subsequent winner Big Gossey in second that day so the form looks strong. Scholastic landed a Curragh nursery over a mile on soft ground for Aidan O'Brien and is now with Joseph so has to be respected from the bottom of the handicap.
