Cri Na Mara has been going well at Wolverhampton but is 9lb higher than when scoring there last month. The race won by Hard Rock City over 7f last week should have a major bearing on the outcome as Almadaa finished runner-up, Dash Back a close third and Hopes N Dreams just behind in fourth. There's nothing between them at the weights here but Dash Back is probably the better of the trio over this shorter trip. TROTTING WEASEL has a shocking strike-rate but did manage to beat Richelieu over the C&D in November and got no sort of run when fancied for a repeat three weeks later. He gets the nod to gain just his third victory on his 45th start.
