MARBLE STATUETTE went up 8lb for her victory early last month but was brought with a well-timed challenge to defy the extra two weeks ago. She's gone up another 7lb but has had a bit in hand and her rider's claim can help her to a hat-trick. Misty Lane has had seven races this year and won four of them. She just held the challenge of Rummaging over a mile a month ago and is very closely matched with the runner-up, who is better over 7f and may have been unlucky when a length behind Captain Joy over that trip in October. Fastidious is just 3lb higher than his victory here in February and continued to run well during the summer.
