Pillar has been consistent though at a lowly level and his best run on the all-weather came in a seller at Southwell. True Companion is a course and distance winner and better than he's been showing on Turf so with Kevin Manning booked he's one for the shortlist while Yamato, who has only had five runs, was well supported at Bellewstown but found soft ground against him. The last time RATEEL (NAP) ran over the track and trip he won from a 3lb lower mark. He hasn't been running badly on Turf and a return to this surface can see him back in the winner's enclosure.
