DUNCAN OF SCOTLAND ended the last campaign with a good run at Hamilton and made no mistake when making all for a comfortable victory at Ayr on Monday. He comes here with a 6lb penalty but his rider's claim halves the burden and he can complete a quick double. Gopsies Daughter was beaten a length by Shelbe over the minimum here last month but should have few problems reversing the form on much better terms. She was beaten by Pillar at Navan next time but that winner has since run moderately at Naas. Cappadocia won this last year but is now 17lb higher though Kevin Manning's booking suggests he'll be better fancied than his stable companion Strategic Heights, who is a prolific winner around here.
