Gavin Cromwell has Bottleofsmoke in top form and a 6lb penalty for Monday's easy victory at Roscommon is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Locus Standi went up 7lb for winning here last month and couldn't handle the extra at Limerick but all of his victories have been on this track. Trump Card has yet to win a race and didn't run very well over the track and trip last time but Manomine appeared to have been suited by a spell of hurdling as he made a very encouraging return to the Flat when a close second at Clonmel. A chance is taken with MOUNTMILLS, who won twice here in 2015 and was returning from a very long lay-off when up with the pace for a long way over the course and distance last month in the race won by Ruby Gates.
