In depth

Verdict

San Remo only showed a moderate amount of ability in maidens last term but the Frankel colt will be expected to do much better this season as he's a half-brother to Group 1 winners. Allography had been making good progress before comfortably landing the odds here last month and seems likely to improve further, a remark that also applies to SLANEY STREET. Jim Bolger's colt hadn't shown much before coming here for a nursery in December and, after good support, winning with a bit in hand. A 2lb rise looks lenient and he can complete a double. Room To Roam makes a quick reappearance after a fair run at Leopardstown on Saturday and he won a maiden here in October while Circus Ring won a handicap here last month before finding heavy ground against him at Naas.
