After his victory under Tom Queally at Wolverhampton, Dove Mountain has been ridden by an inexperienced apprentice but has performed with credit and it would be no shock to see him back in the winner's enclosure. No Way Jack scored on heavy ground at Limerick and has twice finished a close third behind Settle For Red here subsequently. He had Our Max just behind last time and is expected to reach the frame again. SHUKHOV was racing from a mark of 80 just over a year ago and was on a 31lb lower mark when cantering all over his rivals here a fortnight ago. That was over 1m2f but he's equally effective over this trip and though raised a massive 10lb he's probably still ahead of the handicapper. The lightly-raced Tansanite should prove better than a 47-rated performer in time while Norville is on a 6lb lower mark than when last scoring here in January.
