Bob Le Beau ran a rare poor race over the C&D in September and is tried in a first-time tongue strap. He's penalised for a victory at this level at Limerick in June but should still give a good account. Northgate had also run moderately in that race here in September, as had Dubawi Star, but bounced back to beat Rock Critic last month when Mid Mon Lady and Priomhbhean were behind. Three-year-olds have won three of the four renewals and CELEBRITY SEVI is taken to add to that tally. Dermot Weld's improving son of Peintre Celebre looked as though he was ready for a step up to this grade when comfortably landing a premier handicap at Naas last month and looks one to follow.
