In depth

Verdict

RAGTIME RED (NAP) didn't show much in sprints last season but did much better on his return to action over a mile here where he looked in need of an even stiffer test. Colin Keane takes over from an apprentice and an opening victory looks on the cards. Rockfish has shown nothing so far but has ben gelded and can't get any lower in the ratings while Nancy D'Alton is making her handicap debut over this much more suitable trip as is Chaparral Dream.
