In depth

Verdict

Blue Uluru made a successful debut at Fairyhouse in July and won a Navan nursery narrowly from today's rival Red Persian before finding Listed company too hot. This looks his grade and he should go well though EMADEE may have his measure. Andrew Slattery's filly made a winning start at Naas in July and was by no means disgraced when tackling Group 3 company at the Curragh later. Sunday Smart took advantage of heavy going to score at Limerick in October while Abamanova was highly tried after easily landing a Bellewstown maiden.
