First Blood stepped up massively in trip to score over the course and distance a month ago where he had Movie King, Kannoor and Artistic Work following him home. He's 6lb higher and today's rider claims 3lb less so this is a much stiffer test and the latter trio all have chances of reversing the form. Jake Peter continues to run well without winning but was a place behind when ANNECHERIE attempted to complete a double over the track and trip in December. The latter is lightly-raced and was having just her third all-weather start that day so is taken to make further progress and land this.
