Stardayz lost her maiden tag with a comfortable all-the-way success last week but is 11lb higher than when last running in a handicap. Helen De Pourtales has been staying on the last twice she's raced over 7f here but Sam Ewing can't use his claim here. She was beaten by MACCLIFF last month and is no better off with the winner, who has since run really well over a mile and can get back on the winning trail. Sondheim is still a maiden after 15 starts but has gone very close over the trip the last twice while Brokers Tip has dropped to a lowly mark and has performed with credit in recent starts.
