Joseph O'Brien won this last year and Hypernova, who is related to a couple if winners up to a mile, has the advantage of running in a barrier trial here. However, stable companion ULTRAMARINE is likely to be at short odds despite failing to win in eight starts as his six lengths fourth behind Native Trail in the Group 1 National Stakes at the Curragh followed two excellent runs behind Sacred Bridge. This is his first run on the surface but his overall form is at a different level to these. All In The Mind was a long way behind him in the lucrative auction race at Naas but has been in good form and looks set for a place while Tamazu has some scope having done better here last time. The newcomer Butterfly Garden has a speedy pedigree and is one to keep an eye on.
