In depth

Verdict

It seems incredible that the vastly-experienced Colin Keane is still eligible to ride in apprentice races and his mount, Gun Shoot, ran really well here last time and has a course and distance victory to his credit. He had Master Melody just behind last time and the latter appeared to relish stepping up to 1m4f a week ago. Victor's Beach has won three times here but is unproven over the trip, a remark that also applies to Fight U For It, while the maiden Brog Deas Nua has done better since stepped up to a longer distance recently. Calle Aneto is looking a few pounds high after his Sligo victory and was behind Anner Queen and BROADWAY MUSICAL here a fortnight ago. The latter was having just her second start for Willie McCreery after arriving from Richard Hannon a year ago and, with that under her belt, can take this from her lowly mark.
