Verdict

Maontri was magnificently placed to complete a four-timer on this track early this year and is now rated 39lb higher than when her run began in January. She has a very long break to overcome and may have to give best to CRISTAL FASHION. Ger Lyons' filly has had a break since moderate performances in Group 3 company but her her earlier close second to Dazzling at Navan gives her the edge here. Slipper Orchid was well beaten in a Group 3 at Tipperary on Sunday but wasn't beaten far in Listed company at Galway in July. But she has a 10lb claimer on board and Michael Halford looks to have a better chance with the consistent Sea Coast, though she has a bit to find on official ratings. Caliso Bay looks outclassed.
