Something of a lottery but SHAKE A LEG wasn’t beaten far when only sixth over track and trip a fortnight ago and gets a speculative vote. Mick Halford has trained both previous winners but Balmari was well beaten on his debut and Kalapour is a newcomer, though related to a Listed winner. Joseph O’Brien also runs two though neither Numberoneson or Baron Samedi figured on their respective debuts but Ocean Monarch, Radetsky and Easca Peasca look likely improvers for powerful yards and Earls may finish closer stepping up in trip today.
