Ger Lyons arrives here triple-handed and Gary Carroll's presence on board Mississippi John suggests he's the stable pick, especially as he was in front of Marvelous James here a fortnight ago. The third member of the trio, Daft Dave, finished well behind RELAY on the same card when Sharjah and Desiderata were third and fifth. The winner has a 6lb penalty to contend with and it should be tight at the finish but that was only his fourth start on Polytrack and he looks to have more to offer. Gmac returns from an absence and makes his handicap debut but Tommy Stack is adept at getting one ready and the half-brother to eight winners should be monitored in the betting.
