Verdict

Beart, a winner over track and trip a year ago, has run quite well on his latest starts and looks ready to score again soon. GOLD FALCON showed some potential for Dave Simcock last summer and has been going well for new connections, coming with a late burst to score on his first start over the trip three weeks ago. He's been raised 6lb but Ian Brennan's claim takes care of half that and he can complete the double. The veteran Maundy Money has been running reasonably well so the fact that he's now on his lowest mark since 2007 suggests he should be taken seriously but Khelino probably represents the main threat as she's been in good form without quite getting there. Pivotal Rock may do best of the remainder.
