Mcguigan had signalled a return to form when fifth here in November and just outbattled Feisty Katerina a fortnight ago. He's up 5lb but a big run from the runner-up in the previous race will enhance his claims. Ragtime Red was a couple of lengths behind in that latter event and is still a maiden but EVERY BREATH made a successful track debut in November then only just failed to reel in Shadow Seven on a return visit. She ran very well when tried over 1m4f last time and a return to this trip can see her back in the winner's enclosure. Coach Bombay hasn't been in the best of form but has won five races here and can never be dismissed.
