A couple of these stand out on recent form. Samollie beat Timar, Gold Falcon, Wellmarked and Bangalore Prince when scoring by a short-head here three weeks ago but is no good thing to confirm running and ALVAR looks a safer proposition. He won over C and D last month before going close again over a longer trip here and Mick Halford's charge is just preferred to the less-exposed Roter Baron, third at this track on his latest start.
