On The Hoof has completed a hat-trick of course victories but scrambled home last time and is now on his highest ever mark. He'll do well to win again while Beautiful Day has only ever won on Fibresand and his only effort over this C and D resulted in being beaten a long way. Caledonia Prince is another Southwell specialist though he ran well over this C and D last time but in a lesser grade. California English has always competed at a higher level and shouldn't be dismissed while Yeomanoftheguard reappeared after a year's absence to score over 7f here in October before running poorly over the C and D. FINAL DRIVE was heavily supported in the last race On The Hoof won but got loose before the start and should probably have been withdrawn. He's won eight times on Polytrack and looks to have dropped to a winnable mark so gets the vote.
