World Stage is having his first start on the surface but has been narrowly beaten on fast and soft ground so is expected to handle the track. He has an obvious chance while stable companion Walter Sickert, by Galileo out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals, is one to keep an eye on. Renaissance Man is also by Galileo and a half-brother to five winners and he'll have benefited from his run at Killarney in July but the vote goes to ALAYKHA. Dermot Weld's filly started odds-on at Galway after a narrow defeat at Killarney but like many of her stable companions at the fixture didn't run up to scratch. The yard is in much better form now and compensation awaits.
