Verdict

GREAT DANCER made a very encouraging debut behind the odds-on Belle Et Bete at Roscommon but didn't build on the run when favourite at Bellewstown a week later. The soft ground could have been against him and though four lengths behind runner-up Manny Owens he was conceding 11lb and can take his revenge and land this. Cape Wolfe steps up to this trip for the first time but has been a bit unfortunate not to have lost his maiden tag as he's come up against some decent prospects. Moving On Up will have come on for her opening run at Killarney where she showed plenty of potential and though Magic Of Christmas was beaten seven lengths into second by Hassah at Listowel that was a an improvement on her opening run and further progress is likely. Wonder Holy cost 50,000gns early this year and the son of Holy Roman Emperor hails from a yard who can ready one so the market should be noted.
