CAPTAIN DAN has a superb pedigree and will have come on markedly for his debut here a fortnight ago when staying on over 6f. He looks the one to beat though First Response was in need of his debut and showed the benefit with a very good effort over an extended 1m1f at Gowran where he was in the lead at this trip. Stranagone hasn't made the expected progress after a narrow defeat on his debut here in December while King Of Leinster has had plenty of chances and makes his debut on the surface. Where To Next looks best of the remainder as she's been showing good pace over this trip before weakening in the closing stages.
