Exquisite Acclaim had been threatening to win for some time before landing a 7f handicap here last week when well supported. That was an apprentice race so no penalty has been incurred but he's drawn the outside berth here which makes it much more difficult. The Bog Bank, who was staying on into third, is better drawn and has a chance to reverse the form. The lightly-raced BARBAPAPA has a course and distance victory to his credit and is on a lower mark despite having won at Leopardstown in August. With his yard in top form and Jamie Powell's claim to aid his cause he can go in again. Silkies Sib landed a Tipperary handicap before coming up against a very well handicapped winner at Gowran but makes his debut on the surface. Rockbury Lad lost his maiden tag over the track and trip last month and was struck on the head when challenging on a return visit.
