In depth

Verdict

Lady In Lavender and DROMBEG DUKE both made winning track debuts last time, the former on Wednesday when getting up close home to catch Latchet. She has a 6lb penalty to overcome but looks certain to make a bold bid for a quick double. The selection had been going well on Turf before taking advantage of a lowly mark to score a fortnight ago and, though 7lb higher, has the scope to do better. Aisteoir chased home Patrick Sarsfield in what looked a decent maiden at the Curragh while Roman Warrior must be considered after staying on when having his first start since February here in September.
