Verdict

Athlumney Hall ran very well when runner-up at the Curragh and didn't get the run of the race at Gowran next time. Dedillon didn't appear suited by front-running at Listowel after being placed four times earlier while Royal Highness made her debut here early last month in a 7f maiden claimer and only just failed to make all. The superbly-bred Time Tunnel, runner-up four times in six starts, has her first start on the surface and could do with a victory for the paddocks but a final chance goes to BANDIUC EILE to return to her excellent juvenile form. Jim Bolger's filly, runner-up in a Group 2 at the Curragh last August, has found little when asked in her two races since returning from a break but won't get many better opportunities than this. New York Ballet looks best of the remainder after an improved run at the Curragh
