ROSE ANJOU had been threatening to win for a long time before getting off the mark over a mile at Bellewestown in July. She makes her debut on the surface but looks the type to have a good winter campaign and a mark of 66 could be underestimating her ability. Captain Cullen has won six times on Turf but is only 2-24 around here and he could still be a few pounds high. The veterans Bubbly Bellini and An Saighdiur have 30 victories between them so can never be discounted while Shabra Emperor is going for his eighth all-weather victory and is just 4lb higher than his latest success here in March.
