Verdict

I CAN FLY is well clear on official ratings and, as she made a winning debut here in September 2017, the surface won't be a problem. A Group 2 winner at Leopardstown, she was only beaten a neck by Roaring Lion in the QE II at Ascot and none of her rivals have comparable form. She should have a nice spin round before moving on to much better things. Surrounding won a handicap here in early October before conceding 3lb to the more highly-rated Could It Be Love on a return visit later that month and she's a worthy rival. Annie Fior is rated 54lb below the selection and though fit from a couple of recent runs in handicaps is likely to be fighting it out for the minor spot with Waitaki, who has been running in slightly better company than that rival.
