In depth

Verdict

A modest opener can go to the unexposed LEGAL HISTORY. David Pipe’s four-year-old has yet to win a race of any description but he was rated 87 on the Flat at one time and was placed four times. He has hinted at ability over timber and none of his rivals have much to recommend them. First Of Never finally won a race at the 43rd attempt at Wetherby 10 days ago but the 13-year-old is out of the handicap here, despite a penalty. Tim Rocco, who has shown a little improvement lately, and Navajo War Dance look the pick of the remainder.
