Reckless Lad will be attempting his tenth victory on the track and he's been racing over a mile since he won over this trip in similar company. He's greatly respected as is Carried, who hasn't won for a very long time but looked on the way back to form in a handicap last time. Alcatraz has had 14 all-weather starts without winning, nine of them here, but GEORGIAN BAY (NAP) has been entered on what looks a realistic claiming weight and should take all the beating. He was well beaten in a handicap last time but earlier victories over Sheisdiesel and Reckless Lad suggest he should be up to this. Jim Bolger doesn't have many in claimers so the presence of Cool Artist is intriguing.
