In depth

Verdict

SHANKLYS DAWN, a winner over 3m1f at Wexford three weeks ago, was due to run in the 5.25 at Sligo yesterday so that result should be monitored as he looks to have an outstanding chance here. Wee Tiger completed a double over hurdles in July but hasn't taken to fences so far. Peacocks Secret was tackling this sort of trip for the first time at Listowel and ran well enough to put him in the frame for this while winning point-to-pointer and hunter Sizing Rome was beginning to make some headway when falling at Kilbeggan. Stonehall Jack is well handicapped but has been in poor form, a remark that also applies to the veteran Coldstonesober. Ardview Boy has never won in 25 starts under National Hunt Rules.
