Shantou Sisu looked in fine form when scoring over 2m4f at Tramore and started favourite here next time but appeared to find the ground too quick so needs some rain. TULLYVEERY LAD had shown promise in maidens before making a fine handicap debut at Down Royal when only just failing to concede 14lb to Shantou Lucky. Normal progress can see him go one better. Justbecool looked a likely future winner when runner-up over this trip at Downpatrick and found 3m stretching his stamina at Kilbeggan last time. Fou Diligence won a Naas handicap on soft ground in February and is only 1lb higher while Sam Lorenzo has shown the occasional promise and makes his handicap debut along with the four-year-old Auckland, a dual winner on the Flat in Germany.
