Topper Thornton has to enter the equation after his victory at Down Royal early last month though an 8lb rise in this better race makes it tougher. Gordon Elliott seems determined to win it with four entries and Nickname Exit may do best of the quartet though he's done better over hurdles recently. Tulsa Jack looked as though the assessor had hold of him when pulling up at Navan after he completed a double in the autumn but Thelobstercatcher defied his age at Limerick and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort from the veteran. THE MOOCH (NAP) is running very well and followed his victory at Leopardstown with a fine second to Colms Dream on the same track. The winner has scored again and though Paul Nolan's charge is untested over this trip he's on a fair mark and gets the nod.
