In depth

Verdict

Noel Meade won this last year and will be hoping Cote Tete can jump better than he did over hurdles where he's fallen twice in recent weeks. Cloudy Morning, five times a winner over hurdles, hasn't shown that level of ability over fences while Jefferson Davis has yet to reach a place in three starts over the bigger obstacles. Winning point-to-pointer CALIPTION hasn't had much luck over hurdles but is the type to do better over the bigger obstacles and looks the one to be on. Kilbrew Gold has only had three races over hurdles and is quickly sent over fences where he's expected to do much better. An'ball has improved over hurdles and his recent second to Nick Lost at Limerick has been given a boost by the winner.
