ALTERNO won here in August and from 7lb higher on his last start in October. Both victories were on ground with some give so some rain would aid his cause but he's taken to concede weight all round providing the going doesn't firm up. Canny Tom is 1-27 over hurdles though scored over fences here in October while Ashjan followed a good run here last month with another at Tramore. Whatsinthecorner won over fences here last month and probably found the minimum too short when reverting to hurdles at Kilbeggan. Shakeytry has yet to win and did better when dropped to 2m at Tramore while Persian Wind pops up every now and then and has gone well around here in the past.
