In depth

Verdict

EASY VIC went very close over hurdles at Punchestown last month off a 5lb higher mark and has an obvious chance in this. He might start at short odds but should take all the beating. Kilbeggan third Kanesh will be helped by Shane Shortall's claim while Fennis Moll ran well at Tramore after winning at Killarney and should be thereabouts again. Quigleys Express was third over course and distance nine days ago but Emperor Concerto has his first run for a new yard and would prefer softer ground.
