Verdict

Themanintheboots was beaten ten lengths into second at Kilbeggan and the winner has disappointed subsequently. Winning point-to-pointer REXEM looked ready for a step-up in trip when a close third at Bellewstown so this should prove ideal and with his stable in good form he can get off the mark under Rules. Glen Na Tara made a very encouraging debut at Cork and wouldn't need much more to get into contention.
