Verdict

Gordon Elliott won this last year and will be hoping the fitting of cheekpieces to Makhaaleb has the desired effect. He'll be better for a recent run on the Flat and must be on the short-list after his progressive form last season. Amazon Warrior ran out a comfortable winner at Wexford where she jumped much better than previously and can go on from there but LONDON BRIDGE is probably the safest option. Noel Meade's charge was having his fourth start over timber when landing a maiden at Bellewstown and is progressing well enough to complete the double. Bachelor Lad landed a C&D maiden in May before a decent effort in a much better race at Wexford and should be in the shake-up.
