In depth

Verdict

Gordon Elliot tries Oscar Hill in blinkers after a run of disappointing efforts though he may be better off in a handicap. Some Fiddle also represents the Meath handler and though she took a long time to lose her maiden tag there looks to be more to come from her. ZERASHAN followed a maiden success over the C&D with a fine run in a tough handicap at Galway and he looks to be getting his act together. Dessie Hughes' charge can take this as Doctor Deejay has forgotten how to win and is tried in blinkers for the first time. Gold Ability was receiving 7lb from the selection when a couple of lengths behind over the C&D but looked an improved performer when beating a strong field at Galway and looks a real threat.
