PANTHER SOUL is likely to be at short odds here despite beaten when long odds-on at Wexford in October. He'll be better suited by this longer trip and only Summer Hill has comparable form. Runner-up over this trip at Ballinrobe last month, he's well exposed after 13 starts but still looks better than the remainder. Balgowlah didn't run badly in the starts over the track and trip before a poor effort over 3m at Perth and looks best of the remainder.
