Verdict

Effernock Lad is on a long losing run and was beaten off this mark at Sligo on Thursday. HERBIEGOESBANANAS managed to win a maiden hurdle back in 2016 but hasn't run since beaten a distance at Kilbeggan in April 2017. He's moved to Willie Mullins who must believe he's capable of winning races from such a lowly mark. Dual point-to-point winner James Boru has only shown moderate ability over hurdles Musical Ava looks the best alternative as she was in the lead when falling at the last when tackling 2m5f here in June.
