In depth

Verdict

THE TRIGGER (NAP) won over fences at Tipperary before taking advantage of a lower mark over hurdles and rattling-up a hat-trick. He can continue winning ways back over the larger obstacles and is preferred to stablemate Da Baba Elephant. The latter finished behind Maureen's Star when Liam Lennon’s mare was beaten only a neck at Kilbeggan while Cushinstown Finest was placed over a shorter trip at Tramore recently. Monsieur Bagot reverts to fences on his reappearance still looking for a first win after 16 starts.
